Bugatti have recently unveiled their own version of “Bumblebee”, based on the world’s fastest car, the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport. The black-and-yellow theme was applied to their own Veyron, resulting in a unique edition of the 16.4 Grand Sport, the convertible variant of the Veyron series.
Due to be presented at the 2012 Qatar Motor Show during this week, starting January the 25th and lasting until the 28th. One of the external features of this unique Bugatti is the horizontal color split with a bright yellow body encased in black carbon, also adding the one-off black-tinted rims.
This color combination was also applied to the interior of the car, yellow being applied to the upper and lower sections of the door panels, dashboard and seats, all encased in leather and stitched with black thread, while the central console, door panels, steering wheel, gearshift and the middle sections of the dashboard are festooned with yellow-stitched black leather.
The price for the model is a whopping $2,05 million or €1.58 million, a notable difference from the stock version that costs roughly $1.8 million or €1.4 million. Both these prices exclude tax and delivery costs. From the 150 Veyron Grand Sport units to be made, 45 have already been ordered.
