Renault decided it was time to breathe some life into the Megane RS hatchback by announcing a limited edition model dubbed the Megane RS 250 Monaco Grand Prix.The exterior of the RS 250 features white paint complimented by accents of piano black trim as with the side mirrors, fog-lamp surrounds and rear diffuser. Additional features include bi-xenon headlights and a set of four-pot Brembo brakes with red calipers and thin-spoke 19-inch alloy wheels.
Under the hood, the Megane RS 250 generates power from a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine delivering an output of 246hp and 251 lb-ft of torque.The interior features integrated satellite navigation, white details on the center console, full-glass roof with shade cover and Monaco GP stitching on the seats and floor mats. The French automaker says the focus on the new special edition is on "elegance, sport and style." The Megane RS 250 Monaco Grand Prix will be limited to just 50 units and begins at $48,990, which is $7,000 higher than the price of the standard RS 250.
